Blossoming Candleholder

These candleholders are simply lovely, lovely, lovely. Vietnamese artisans have created this type of delicate blue and white ceramics for over half a millennium. These candleholders are painted and glazed by hand by artisans working with Craft Link, a nonprofit connecting the artisans with a global market. 

Craft Link works with a variety of artisans, including traditional villages, and includes a focus on Vietnam's ethnic minorities and artisans who work with a disability. It works with artisans to market, design, and sell their goods, and it also provides tools, interest-free loans, education, and literacy classes. It's beyond easy to get behind their simple vision that "One day all the artisans in Vietnam will earn a fair wage and have a happy life."

The candleholder is ceramic and approximately 3" high. The tea light is not included. Handmade in Vietnam. Fair trade certified.
